Christopher Taylor has been drawing and painting since childhood. He has painted many comissions, illustrated the rock album he released in 2006, and has shown in several group shows related to the indie rock scene. Both New York Magazine and Flaunt Magazine have featured his work. Moving away from photorealism, he has developed a style that employs watercolor and pen & ink and refers to the graphic novel aesthetic without the narrative. This comic abstraction affords him the freedom to represent the world in a deconstructed state using the black line set upon color. As Chris works toward his next show, he is available to paint and illustrate for other projects.
